Colonna’s Shipyard Inc. is pleased to be chosen as a Prime Contractor for SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e), NAVSEA and Navy Virtual SYSCOM Solicitation N00178-06-R-4000. Colonna’s Team will provide engineering, technical, and programmatic support services to the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, and the United States Marine Corps. Colonna’s Shipyard was chosen for it’s technical capability including depth and breadth for each proposed zone, our management team approach, subcontracting requirements and past performance. Our Cost/Price approach provides a realistic, savings, ceiling unit pricing and a compensation plan which is key to saving the U.S. Navy substantial money over the life cycle of this contract.
Colonna’s Shipyard Inc., will lead a team composed of NG&G – AMSEC LLC, EG&G Technical Services, Alion–Science, Tri Star Engineering Inc. and American Engineering Manufacturing Inc. all presently supporting the Navy technical community for this effort to provide engineering, technical, and programmatic support for Sea Port "e" customers. Colonna’s Shipyard was founded in 1875 to provide vessel repair and ship building in the Port of Norfolk. The Colonna’s Team has a multidisciplinary workforce strategically situated across the country to provide each of the NAVSEA activities and their satellite organizations with the right people, resources, experience, and solutions.
